Last Friday David Cook, the beloved singer-songwriter and season 7 winner of the hit show American Idol, dropped his new single “Death of Me” ahead of a fall acoustic tour that includes a stop in Blue Ridge Georgia.
“I’m excited for this new single! “Death Of Me” came together within a few days’ time, and I feel like that energy really translated on the finished product. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!” David said in a recent interview.
Cook’s acoustic tour began last Monday in his hometown of St. Louis, MO, and will make its way throughout the Midwest and Eastern United States before finishing up in Nashville. Cook’s Blue Ridge concert will take place November 17, 2018 and is being hosted at a private location on Lake Blue Ridge by Firefly Music.
If you miss out on this opportunity to experience a fun-filled, intimate evening with a well known recording artist close up don’t worry, Firefly Music Blue Ridge has plenty more of them lined up. Check out their website for more information on upcoming performances.
As with all Firefly concerts, the proceeds from this event will be donated to a charitable organization. In this case, proceeds will be donated to Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure in memory of David’s older brother Adam, who died from brain cancer shortly after David’s American Idol win.
