Blue Ridge is a great place to celebrate Independence Day. Between the beautiful scenery, water sports on lake Blue Ridge and the Toccoa and Ocoee Rivers, ample space to setup a grill and cook out and multiple fireworks shows in the area, there really is a lot to do around the north Georgia mountains for the Fourth of July. If you are staying in a local motel or renting a vacation cabin anywhere around Lake Blue Ridge or Morganton you should be able to find a clear view without having to go far.

Blue Ridge 4th of July Celebration
Where: Lake Blue Ridge. Fireworks can be viewed from many places around or near Lake Blue Ridge, including Tammen Park, Morganton Point Campground, Lake Blue Ridge Marina, parking areas near the dam, etc.

McCaysville 4th of July Celebration
Where: Anywhere in the McCaysville, GA or Copperhill, TN area. Downtown streets will have limited vehicle access, with live music and entertainment at several locations in downtown McCaysville and Copperhill.
Date: June 29, 2018 (Friday)
Time: Activities begin at 6:00pm, Fireworks begin at 9:30. Local restaurants and stores will be open late.
