One of the best things about Blue Ridge, Georgia and the Fannin County area is that there is almost always something going on. Some of the most popular annual festivals in north Georgia include the Fire and Ice Chili Cookoff, Troutfest, the Blue Ridge Wine & Jazz Festival, Arts in the Park (spring and fall), Independence Day celebrations in Blue Ridge, McCaysville and Ducktown, the Labor Day BBQ, Light Up Blue Ridge and much much more.

The 2019 4th of July fireworks will be sponsored by the Blue Ridge Civic Association. Lake Blue Ridge Marina will have a large area roped off for the viewing of Independence Day fireworks. Free parking is provided within the fenced lot. No cars will be allowed to enter the area of the marina between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. to protect pedestrians walking in to the fireworks.
